This webpage has been created to show developments as they unfold, as far as my participation in the Advanced Research Topics in Computer Science class is concerned.

The topic of research, that which is being discussed on this page, is: effective ways to calculate and render molecular surfaces. The class is concerned with comparisons of various algorithms to perform the molecular surface calculations, whereas I intend to go a bit further to discern quality methods of rendering these surfaces in 3-D space.

On this webpage, you will see various links to websites which I have used to obtain a better understanding of this scientific project. I have also cited a couple of journals and texts that were obtained from libraries, all pertaining to this project.

Results for calculating molecular surfaces of various molecules using the Distributed Molecular Surface (DMS) algorithm, as well as the molecules tested on, is also presented here.
