CSC 175 / CSC 177 - Software Engineering / Senior Project Webpage

The Software Engineering team formed for this course aims at developing a Student Advisement System, a web-based solution for degree audit. Its main purpose is to help students in Dowling College self-advise themselves and keep track of classes that still have to be taken for a degree completion. It takes into account the transcript of the student as kept in the official Dowling database and outputs a list of courses still to be taken. The student is given the option to input different attempted majors and that provides important help tool for undecided majors to choose their degree.
